DAYTON — A pep rally will be held Saturday in honor of retired Dayton High School teacher and coach Don Hodgson, who died Feb. 2.
Hodgson, 61, volunteered with many community organizations in addition to the time he spent at Dayton High. His son Drew Hodgson, who is organizing the pep rally, said the goal is to remember his father’s contributions to the town.
A number of clubs and service organizations will be present at the rally, and people are encouraged to sign up to donate their time in lieu of giving money.
Don’s Last Pep Rally will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Dayton High School gym. Atendees are encouraged to wear Bulldog red and gold.
