On Feb. 3, in a letter to the editor, a writer accused U.S. Rep. Jose Serrano of being an Obama “worshipper.” Before making such an allegation, the reader should check her facts.
Serrano, D-N.Y., has introduced the bill of which she speaks nine times — including four times when George W. Bush was in office. Did the writer not check her facts or are the facts irrelevant to her viewpoint?
Snopes.com and factcheck.org are excellent sources of nonpartisan information.
