WALLA WALLA — The Downtown Walla Walla Foundation is reaching out to potential vendors for the 2013 farmers market.
Artisan vendors, growers and food purveyors are invited to a 6 p.m. meeting Thursday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 415 W. Alder St.
The market enters its 17th year at the downtown, but many aspects will be new, including the name, Downtown Farmers Market. Also new this year will be the return of a market under the administration of the foundation.
The market is expected to operate every Saturday and Sunday from May through October. The foundation will review marketing and advertising plans, introduce a new Start-up Committee and discuss ideas to increase attendance.
The meeting is open to all guests. Ideas and questions are welcome. For more information call the foundation at 529-8755.
