BURBANK — The Columbia School Board will hold a special board meeting Monday at 7 p.m. in the Columbia Elementary School library.
Prior to the meeting, the board will meet in executive session at 5:30 p.m. to conduct a superintendent evaluation. Executive sessions are closed to the public.
During the special meeting, which is open to the public, the board will discuss the elementary marimba band and Crystal Apple Awards. There will be a presentation on Columbia Elementary School science initiatives and reports on enrollment, a financial audit, strategic planning, career and technical education budget and student safety.
The board is expected to vote on policies regarding gifts and student safety walking to school/riding buses; as well as action on spring sports schedules, and a board member resignation.
