CALDWELL, Idaho — Whitman saw its early-season baseball record slip to 4-4 here Saturday after a doubleheader loss to the College of Idaho.
The Yotes won the first game, 4-2, and took the nightcap, 9-0.
Aaron Cohen accounted for the Missionaries first run in the opener with an RBI double in the fourth inning.
C of I’s Ryan Eddy tossed a five-hit shutout in the nightcap and was backed by an 11-hit attack.
Kyle Buckham had two hits in the second game for Whitman.
The teams wrap up their four-game series today with an 11 a.m. twin bill.
