The 38th annual American Association of University Women book sale takes place this weekend. The three-day event is known for drawing hundreds of people who peruse and purchase from what is estimated to be a collection of 30,000 books that the association uses to raise money for education charities. On Friday at noon, close to 200 people lined up outside the Marcus Whitman Hotel & Conference Center Ballroom waiting for the sale to start.
