Thefts, Burglaries

WW County Sheriff

  • Third and D streets, Prescott, Saturday. Two stop signs and posts reportedly stolen.

MF Police

  • Northeast Fifth Avenue. Generator reported stolen.
  • Northeast Fifteenth Avenue. Headphones, GPS system and iPhone chargers reported stolen from vehicles.

Umatilla County Sheriff

  • 84000 block of Highway 11, Milton-Freewater. License plates and battery reported stolen from vehicle.

Collisions

WW Police

  • Alder and Division streets, 8:34, Thursday. Rear end collision: no injuries reported.

Arrests

WW Police

  • Stephanie D. Ketcham, 26, 323 S. Third Ave., Sunday. Charge: investigation of second-degree assault after allegedly stabbing an acquaintance in the arm at her apartment. The assault reportedly took place at roughly 5:30 a.m.
  • Sawyer B. Hostetler, Starbuck, Saturday. Charge: investigation of driving while intoxicated.
  • Xavier Olivaros, 34, 14 Whistling Duck Road, Sunday. Charger: investigation of driving while intoxicated.

WW County Sheriff

  • Alex M. Wittermood, 25, Richland, Sunday. Charge: investigation of felony harassment and driving while intoxicated.

MF Police

  • Jose M.A. Contreras, 28, S.E. Third Ave., Milton-Freewater, Sunday. Charge: investigation of driving while intoxicated.

Vandalism

WW Police

  • 1100 block of Third Avenue. Car window reportedly smashed.

Columbia County Sheriff

  • 1200 block of South Second Avenue. Vandalism to vehicle.
  • 400 block of South Sixth Avenue. Vandalism to trash can.
  • 200 block of East Main Street. Vandalism reported.
  • 500 block of West Cameron Court. Vandalism reported.

Miscellaneous

Umatilla County Sheriff

  • Dry Creek Road, Milton-Freewater. A woman reported she saw a large man stumbling on the side of the road who appeared to have his hands tied behind his back. The woman said the man was wearing a tan coat and between about 30 and 40 years old.
  • 1500 block of North Columbia Street, Milton-Freewater. Police reported a man stepped out of a parked van and urinated in a public area.

Columbia County Sheriff

  • 400 block of East Main Street. A semi-truck reportedly backed into a power pole, “breaking it off at the base.”
  • 700 block of East Main Street, Sunday. Prowler reported.
