'Beauty and the Beast' fairy tale told in dance

A fairy tale will come to life through dance when students of The Dance Center of Walla Walla present “Beauty and the Beast” from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Jan. 26 at Cordiner Hall, 46 S. Park St.

The tale of discovering the truth of beauty coming from the inside out is based on the first published story by Gabrielle de Villeneuve, with Idalee Hutson-Fish’s choreography, Bonnie Griffith’s artwork, Raffaele Exiana’s costume creation and more than 100 dancers from The Dance Center of Walla Walla.

Tickets are $10-15, and will be available at the door.
