DeSales steamrolls Sunnyside Christian, 51-34

WALLA WALLA — DeSales steamrolled Sunnyside Christian Saturday night, 51-34.

Matt Moore led the Irish with 15 points and Luke Fazzari added 11.

The first quarter was almost even, at 8-7, Irish, but DeSales pulled away with a 16-8 run over the second quarter.

“We adjusted to their matchup zone in that second quarter and got guys in the right position,” DeSales coach Allyn Griffin said. “We did real well in the transition game and played hard against their big front line.”

The Irish (5-4 overall, 0-2 Southeast 2B) play host Walla Walla Valley Academy Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
