POMEROY — Pomeroy slayed the LaCrosse-Washtucna Tigercats, 54-12, Tuesday night in Southeast 1B girls basketball action.
Pomeroy (3-8 overall, 2-6 SE1B) had three players in double figures.
Delaney Monahan led all scorers with 11 points. Ireland Mayfield and Savannah Ruark added 10 apiece.
“It was a nice win for us,” Pomeroy coach Nettie Severs said. “We got to work on our press and movement on offense. So it was a good win.”
The Tigercats turned the ball over 31 times compared to just 14 turnovers from Pomeroy.
Pomeroy hosts Friday Tekoa-Oakesdale at 6 p.m .
