EOU ousts Walla Walla University women, 84-39

LA GRANDE — The NAIA’s No. 8-ranked Eastern Oregon University women’s basketball team ousted Walla Walla University, 84-39, here Saturday.

Eastern Oregon tallied 27 assists and were led by Nicolette Neel with six.

In comparison, WWU managed 10 assists.

EOU had four players in double figures scoring, led by Maloree Moss with 14.

Neel led WWU with 11 points.

The leading rebounder was Jorie Freeman with 11 for EOU.

Walla Walla turned the ball over 20 times, on seven EOU steals.

Walla Walla moves its record to 1-18 and EOU improves to 19-2.

The Wolves plays again Friday at Warner Pacific in Portland at 2 p.m.
