Christian Women’s Connection luncheon slated

DAYTON — Christian Women’s Connection monthly luncheon will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednessday at the Seneca Activity Center. The cost is $10.

Wanda Hamilton will share about “life as a tandem bike ride.”

Gary Bowles will play the fiddle and his son, Jonathan, will share his art.

Evensong to be at University Church on Saturday

COLLEGE PLACE — The Walla Walla University Church will host Evensong at 7 p.m. Saturday.

The program of sacred organ music will be performed by Kraig Scott and his students, with readings presented by Rodd Strobel.

The annual Walk for Life will take place at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 20

WALLA WALLA — The Walk for Life will start at 1:30 p.m. Jan 20 at Amazing Grace Nazarene Church, 717 E. Alder St.

The Walk for Life is a memorial to children lost to abortion, to give them voice.

The one-mile walk will end at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 425 W. Alder St.

There will be prayer service at 1:30 p.m. at Amazing Grace and at 2:30 p.m. at St. Patrick for those who can’t attend the walk, with a time of fellowship and refreshment to follow.
