WALLA WALLA — As if the Seahawks losing Sunday wasn’t depressing enough.
Patchy freezing fog and stagnant air are in the forecast for the next few days.
A large high-pressure area is expected to settle over the region — including Walla Walla, the Tri-Cities, Connell and Prosser — and trap low clouds below an inversion.
People with respiratory problems are advised to take precautions for a prolonged period of stagnant air conditions.
The forecast predicts patchy freezing fog through Wednesday with daily high temperatures in the 30s and lows in the 20s. The sun is expected to return Thursday, but patchy freezing fog could come back that night, the National Weather Service said.
