Rezone: Did not approve proposed rezone of Scenic View area from R75-single family residential to R60-single family residential. Action would have affected 173 properties between Southeast 12th Street and Southeast Lamperti Street and between Southeast Broadway Avenue and Southeast Larch Avenue. Scott, Steve Dickerson, Beamer — yes. Nyhagen, Larry Dickerson — no.
Hearing examiner: Reviewed information to create hearing examiner system for land use matters and to hear appeals of administrative decisions. Proposed action would also eliminate the Board of Adjustments and Building Code Board of Appeals.
Cars project: Authorized city administration to execute engineering design services contract with Keller and Associates for College Avenue-Rose Street Reconstruction Project. Total contract costs not to exceed $1,046,563. Action on right of way procurement policy and procedure for project removed from agenda to be considered at later date. Unanimous.
Street project: Approved acceptance of state Transportation Improvement Board grant for improvements to Davis Avenue and authorized administration to execute necessary agreements to complete project. Total expenditure of $198,000 authorized. Unanimous.
