WALLA WALLA — Rapper Richard “Lil Los” Jimenez will present a concert on Sunday, 5:30 p.m., at the China Pavilion on the Walla Walla Community College campus.
Jimenez will perform Chicano rap, hip-hop and G-funk style urban music during the event.
The music takes him back to “L.A. roots,” Jimenez said. “Basically I tell stories and hope for an impact on society. Some songs are hard core and I’m not going to lie about that, but it’s the message … songs to define the path you take.”
The artist, who came to Walla Walla with his family in 1994, said he is working toward getting produced commercially.
Tickets are $7 per person, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the WWCC Drama Club.
