Pomeroy needs OT but beats Rosalia

ROSALIA — Three Pomeroy players scored in double figures and the Pirates beat Rosalia 58-52 in overtime here Saturday.

Tanner Feider was the leading Pirate scorer with 13 points. Cody LaMunyan added 12 while Kade Synder had 11.

Rosalia nailed five 3-pointers while the Pirates hit four.

“It was a good all-around game,” Pomeroy Brian Koller said, “It seemed that neither team led by more than two points the whole game. We attacked the hoop and got to the free-throw line in overtime. We made 6-of-8 free throws in the extra period.”

Pomeroy (12-3, 9-2 Southeast 2B) plays again Friday at home against Waitsburg-Prescott.
