Have a tubby tabby or a corpulent canine?
Mill Creek Veterinary Hospital is working to get animals in shape with an upcoming Pet Slim Down Challenge.
Between Feb. 1 and April 30 the vet clinic, 3344 Isaacs Ave., will offer a competition to help pets reach a healthy weight and stay there.
Participants will work with a licensed veterinary technician to calculate their pets’ daily caloric requirement for a healthy weight. The body mass percentage lost will help determine the Pet Slim Down Champion. The winner will be treated to a pet spa day at the clinic and other prizes.
