WALNUT CREEK, Calif. — Oregon State guard Jamie Weisner, a former Wa-Hi player, was named Pac-12 Conference Freshman of the Week for the second-straight week on Monday.

Weisner, who graduated from Clarkston High, averaged 18.0 points in two games against in-state rival Oregon.

In Tuesday’s 63-53 over the Ducks in Eugene, Weisner led all scorers with 22 points on 7-for-16 shooting, her second 20-plus-point game of the season. She also made a career-high four 3-pointers.

In Sunday’s 68-49 home win, Weisner scored a game high-tying 14 points as OSU swept Oregon for the second-consecutive season and increased its winning streak against the Ducks to five games.

Weisner has scored in double-figures in six straight and 11 games overall this year. She is averaging a team-high 12.3 points per game and has been even better in conference play, upping that to 16.2 per contest.
