Weston-McEwen girls beat Union, 66-62

UNION — Makayla Christopher scored 20 points to lead Weston-McEwen to a 66-62 win over Union in a Blue Mountain Conference girls basketball game here Tuesday evening.

Molly von Borstel added 15 points and 11 boards in the win. Taryn Coffman added nine points and five steals.

“It was a good team win and a game from which to build confidence,” W-M coach Amber Doremus said.

The TigerScots grabbed 31 boards, including 17 offensive rebounds.

W-M also had 13 steals.

The TigerScots visit Pilot Rock Friday at 6 p.m.
