COLLEGE PLACE — Walla Walla University is celebrating black history weekend with a performance by Northwest gospel choirs entitled “Total Praise: A Festival of Choirs” on Saturday at 4 p.m in the University Church.
The weekend will also include a Friday night vespers program at 8 as well as church services Saturday morning at 9:25 and 11:30, also at the church. Immediately following the service will be the annual black history international potluck in the church fellowship hall.
The events conclude with a sports tournament at 7:30 in the Winters Educational Complex Gym.
