Walla Walla County

Jevon U. Brinkley, 30, 19 N. Wilbur Ave., was charged July 10 with two counts of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Brinkley is accused of knowingly and unlawfully manufacturing marijuana and possessing cocaine on April 26.

Lucas M. Hancock, 19, 816 Figueroa St., was charged July 10 with violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Hancock is accused of knowingly and unlawfully manufacturing marijuana between April 16 and 26.

Ashley N. Reece, 30, 19 N. Wilbur Ave., was charged July 10 with two counts of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Reece is accused of knowingly and unlawfully manufacturing marijuana and possessing cocaine on April 26.

George Cantu, 20, complete address unavailable, was charged July 11 with second-degree rape of a child. Cantu is accused of engaging in sexual intercourse with a girl who was 12 or 13 years old on July 9.

JUVENILE CASES

Brian P. Smith, 17, 150 S. Wilbur Ave., No. 4, was sentenced July 5 on one count contempt of court. The sentence included five days in the Juvenile Justice Center, six months community supervision, 20 hours community service, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On June 21 Smith pleaded guilty to intentionally disobeying a lawful court order dated April 17 requiring a student to attend school, between April 17 and May 15.

Jose Flores Jr. 16, 123 Donald St., was sentenced July 5 on one count each violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act and harassment. The sentence included 40 days in the Juvenile Justice Center, credit for 40 days served, nine months community supervision, 40 hours community service, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On June 7 Flores pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and to knowingly and without lawful authority, threatened to kill another and by words or conduct placed that person in reasonable fear that the threat would be carried out, both on April 28.
