It’s the big 2 for Door Number Two.
The downtown Walla Walla retail shop is celebrating its second year in business this week with a birthday bash Friday.
Jessica Valentine Whiteside, who owns the business with her husband Adam Whiteside plans to pump up the music and serve treats at the vintage store, 32 S. Colville St., 5-8 p.m.
The little shop, notably marked by the three-wheeled bike with the flowers in the basket out front, is a vintage/second-hand store known for its “funky clothing, unique furnishings, things with wheels, or just inanimate objects that just sit there and look neat,” a description on Facebook says.
A number of specials on inventory have been running this week as a lead-in to Friday’s event. Those include buy-one-get-one-half-off deals, as well as others. To commemorate the special birthday, the shop will have a $2 rack filled with “miscellaneous awesomeness,” Valentine Whiteside said. It will also include $2 discounts on $22 purchases and $2 off future $22 purchases.
