Blue Mountain Heart to Heart gets $5,000 grant for clients with HIV
WALLA WALLA — A New York City organization is putting $5,000 into Blue Mountain Heart to Heart to support the agency’s wraparound services for clients living with HIV.
Help includes nutritional support, medical appointment transportation and mental wellness counseling.
“Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS,” a New York City actor’s group, has given the Walla Walla nonprofit a previous grant, said Everett Maroon, executive director.
“It is especially impressive that they recognize the need for continued support in rural areas like ours,” he said.
Blue Mountain Heart to Heart works to prevent new HIV and hepatitis C infections and provide care and assistance. For more information contact Maroon at 529-4744 or at email@example.com.
