Walla Walla

Graffiti reported at Sweet Valley Wines.

Bike tire stem reportedly broken in the 100 block of East Summach Street.

An electric scooter reportedly found near the intersection of Bryant and Fern avenues.

Police arrested a 21-year-old man on a felony warrant after spotting the man riding his bicycle after dark without lights.

Graffiti reported at Cascade Natural Gas.

A bag of golf balls reportedly stolen from a locked truck in the 600 block of Hobson Street.

A residence of the 700 block of Village Way reported he found a purse containing a .22 caliber derringer.

A 21-speed mountain bike reportedly stolen from the 900 block of West Chestnut Street.

A resident of Topaz Street reportedly found a cash box with loose change and black checks left in their back yard.

Walla Walla County

A 20-year-old woman reported that while she was jogging on Powerline Road, a man driving a white Cadillac pulled along side and offered her a ride, which she promptly declined. The young woman told police the man then pulled in front of her and said “get in” using a “firmer tone of voice.” The woman fled into a nearby wheat field and called 911.

A truck driver struck a power pole with his semi-trailer at the intersection of Kendall and Rooster roads.


Deputies arrested a 13-year-old boy for assaulting another youth at the Waitsburg Pool. Witnesses reported the scuffle began as horseplay, and added the two youths had a history of bad blood. The accused teen told police he was fed up with the other youth constantly making fun of him. The victim’s mother told officers she wants to press charges.


A 17-year-old woman reported that while she was walking home from the pool a man driving a yellow or tan colored vehicle stopped to ask directions to a nearby store. The girl said the men then got out of the car and offered her a ride home. She told the man she was calling her dad. The man left in a hurry according to the teen.


A 13-year-old girl reported spotting a suspicious looking man in her back yard while she was home alone. The girl yelled at the man through a window then called her mother. The man fled: the mother called police.


Soda machine broken into in the 100 block of Depot Street.

A Weston woman turned in to police an empty bottle for hydrocodone pills that had been illegally sold to her husband.
