Teen-age girl killed in Lake Stevens drive-by shooting

SEATTLE — A girl killed in a drive-by shooting in Lake Stevens was a freshman at Seattle’s Bishop Blanchet high school.

The president of the private Catholic school, Antonio DeSapio, issued a statement Sunday confirming that the victim was Molly Conley, 15, of Seattle. He called it a “a terrible act of random violence.”

Conley, from Seattle’s Magnolia neighborhood, was reportedly walking with friends, including several classmates, and celebrating her birthday in Lake Stevens on Saturday night when she was shot in the neck.

Her family’s church, Our Lady of Fatima, held a Sunday night prayer service in her memory
