Wash., Oregon gas prices down; still higher than US average

The AAA auto club reports the average price of a gallon of gasoline in Washington is $3.91. That’s down 7 cents in a week, but 29 cents higher than the national average.

Some metro prices from today’s AAA survey: Bellingham $3.97, Seattle-Bellevue-Everett $3.96, Tacoma $3.85, Olympia $3.89, Vancouver $3.90, Yakima $3.87, Tri-Cities $3.86, and Spokane $3.81.

In Oregon, the AAA auto club reports the average price of a gallon of gasoline is $3.89. That’s down 6 cents in a week, but it’s 27 cents higher than the national average.

Some metro prices from today’s AAA survey: Portland $3.89, Salem $3.84, Eugene-Springfield $3.89, and Medford-Ashland $3.87.
