Support for Honour Project appreciated

With great honor and pride we, as veterans, wish to voice our appreciation of Mark and Kathleen Small and their family for the full support of the Honour Project.

The Honour Project, flying veterans in a vintage aircraft starting with World War II, is being done in honor of Mark’s and Kathleen’s family, fathers and sons and all the other veterans who have served our country.

You would be amazed at the smiles and grins on their faces as they disembark the aircraft, a 1942 Boeing Stearman.

We have flown 76 veterans from WW11 to date. The oldest was 98 and just this weekend we flew a youngster of 92. They all enjoy the flight and come back with some outstanding stories and photos of their own.

If you would like to support this great effort, contact Mark Small or the AMVET Jonathan M. Wainwright Post 1111 at P.O. Box 2535 in Walla Walla. Your support would be greatly appreciated..

Larry Cunnington

Commander AMVETS Post 1111
