An employee known for his home repair programs at Blue Mountain Action Council has been promoted to assist with property management for the agency.
Terry Keller was named assistant Housing Services director for the nonprofit community services agency, said Chief Executive Officer Steven Moss in an announcement.
Keller joined BMAC’s housing team in 2006 after working years at Carroll Adams Tractor and Tumac Outdoor Equipment. He’s coordinated BMAC’s weatherization, lead-based paint abatement and home repair programs. In his new role he will also assist with property management and maintenance, as well as head up inventory.
“Terry leads by doing,” said Ted Koehler, BMAC Housing Services director. in a prepared statement. “His community connectedness and can-do attitude are a real asset to our clients.”
BMAC assists low-income residents in Walla Walla, Columbia and Garfield counties through an array of programs, including its Food Bank, low-income housing, and job training and placement. It’s Housing Services Division recently won a Governor’s Recognition Award for efforts to help weatherize a record number of units.
