Walla Walla’s new pharmaceutical-grade skin care and cosmetic boutique may have a familiar feel to it.
Well Face and Body owner Jennifer Allen said her shop at 45 E. Main St. has the feel of beauty businesses, such as Sephora or Ulta. Except that the 2-month-old shop in the heart of downtown has more than make up and skin care products. It also offers dermatological services, plus botox and Juvederm treatments.
A celebration Thursday offered visitors a chance to tour the shop, meet the owners and see the recently completed treatment room. Twice a month, Dr. Robert Hopp, a board-certified dermatologist from the Tri-Cities and business partner, will offer the extra treatments.
Allen has worked at his office eight years and continues to do so one day a week, in addition to running her new shop. She’s been offering laser treatments there. Well Face and Body also offers rosacea treatments.
Her business, which opened in April after an extensive remodel, carries three major pharmaceutical-grade lines typically sold through dermatology offices. She also carries four makeup lines, mostly mineral-based, and with testers available. Other items include Shea bath and body items.
Allen commutes from the Tri-Cities to operate the business. She said she chose to open in Walla Walla where visibility and community would be a perfect fit for the niche business. Her sister, Melissa Allen, runs the business with her.
Well Face and Body is closed Sundays and Mondays. Hours of operation are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays, and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. For more details, call 876-4744.
