A new senior vice president will lead Banner Bank’s commercial asset-based lending services.
Gregg Marsicano has been hired as senior vice president, asset-based lending manager for Banner, the Walla Walla subsidiary of Banner Corp.
Marsicano brings nearly 30 years of experience to the position. He will head up asset-based lending throughout the company’s Pacific Northwest footprint, developing creative financing solutions to meet the needs of Banner’s current and prospective clients, the company announced.
“Gregg brings extensive experience and knowledge to this leadership position within Banner’s commercial team,” said Jim Reed, senior vice-president, commercial executive, in a prepared statement. “Asset-based lending is an important component of Banner’s commercial credit offering to our business clients. The credit solutions we offer provide our clients with the capital to continue, expand or diversify operation of their business.”
Marsicano previously worked as a senior vice president, business development officer for 15 years at Wells Fargo. He established a satellite office in Seattle to serve Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska. He has served on the boards for and is a current member of the Turnaround Management Association-Northwest Chapter and the Association for Corporate Growth.
