School’s out, but for two Walla Walla High School gym teachers class is about to start again.
The summer sessions for Cardio Strength Bootcamp, the group fitness training offered by teachers Scott Tibbling and Marc Yonts, will begin July 1 at the Sharpstein Elementary playground.
The sessions take place 7 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The roughly 40-minute circuit training integrates bodyweight exercise, TRX suspension trainers, sandbells, kettlebells and exercise ropes in an outdoor setting for metabolic resistance workouts. Bootcamp participants receive weekly “On Your Own” workouts, information about nutrition and tips for maintaining personal fitness motivation.
The cost is $50 a month. Lower student and long-term rates are available. July’s Bootcamp will include the “Bring a Buddy” promotion.
