CRIMINAL CASES

Joseph G. Savage, 50, 111 N. D St., Prescott, was charged June 5 with five counts of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Savage is accused of knowingly and unlawfully delivering methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of the perimeter of a school grounds on March 21, March 27 and May 24; knowingly and unlawfully possessing with intent to deliver methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of the perimeter of a school grounds on June 4; and using drug paraphernalia on June 4.

Ryan P. Timmons, 26, no permanent address listed, was charged June 6 with second-degree possessing stolen property, five counts of second-degree vehicle prowling and five counts of third-degree theft. Timmons is accused of knowingly receiving, possessing, retaining, concealing or disposing of a stolen debit card; unlawfully entering or remaining in five vehicles with the intent to commit a crime; and wrongfully obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property belonging to five people on June 5.

Jose Ramos Jr., 30, address not confirmed, was charged June 10 with possession of a controlled substance by a person confined in a county correctional institution and violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Ramos is accused of knowingly possessing, carrying or controlling a controlled substance while in the Walla Walla County Jail; and possessing methamphetamine on June 7.

Robert C. Johnson, 24, 420 S. Second Ave., was charged June 11 with two counts of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Johnson is accused of possessing methamphetamine and using drug paraphernalia on Dec. 3, 2012.

Roxanne J. Ballinger, 45, 24 W. Walnut St., was charged June 11 with two counts of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act and one count of third-degree theft. Ballinger is accused of possessing methamphetamine, using drug paraphernalia, and wrongfully obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over lamps and other household items on Dec. 3, 2012.

Cynthia K. Ramsey, 41, 40 E. Walnut St., was charged June 11 with two counts of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act and one count of third-degree theft. Ramsey is accused of possessing methamphetamine, using drug paraphernalia, and wrongfully obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over lamps and other household items on Dec. 3, 2012.

Lauren A. Davin, 30, 254 Willard St., was charged June 11 with three counts of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Davin is accused of possessing methamphetamine, possessing alprazolam, and using drug paraphernalia on Sept. 24, 2012.

Blake D. Nelson, 26, 1318 Lowell Drive, was charged June 11 with violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Nelson is accused of possessing methamphetamine on Aug. 6, 2012.

Christo C. Xiggenis, 29, Kennewick, was sentenced  June 10 on one count violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act. The court dismissed two other counts. The sentence included restitution of $1,147.06, $200 in court costs, $62 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $1,000 violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act fee, $500 drug enforcement fund, $100 crime lab and biological fee, credit for 54 days served, 24 months community custody.  On March 25 Xiggenis pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of methamphetamine on Feb. 28.

John T. Owen, 21, 511 Chase Ave., was charged June 11 with violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Owen is accused of possessing methamphetamine on June 11.

Elias G. Lopez, 19, address not confirmed, was charged June 12 with two counts of second-degree malicious mischief. Lopez is accused of knowingly and maliciously damaging personal property, in addition to windows and fixtures at a residence, on June 11.

Phillip S. Jones, 48, no permanent address listed, was charged June 13 with second-degree theft. Jones is accused of wrongfully obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over money belonging to Sears between Jan. 23 and 30.

Ibn R. Aquil, 28, Washington State Penitentiary, 1313 N. 13th Ave., was charged June 13 with custodial assault. Aquil is accused of intentionally assaulting a correctional officer on Feb. 15.

Andrew J. Demaris, 38, transient, was sentenced June 13 on one count harassment. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $62 in sheriff fees, $250 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 biological fee, 12 days in the county jail, credit for 12 days served, 12 months probation.  On May 18 Demaris pleaded guilty to threatening bodily injury to another on or about Dec. 27.

Nicodemo Jimenez, 18, College Place, was sentenced June 14 on one count second-degree burglary. The sentence included restitution to be determined, $200 in court costs, $84.50 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 biological fee, 30 days in the county jail converted to 200 hours DOC supervised community service, credit for five days served, 12 months community custody. On May 24 Jimenez pleaded guilty to entering and remaining in a building to commit a crime against property on Feb. 12.
