Have you seen the transformation of Salumiere Cesario’s former spot on Second Avenue?
If not, this weekend is your chance to step behind the doors into downtown Walla Walla’s new tasting room tenant.
Maison Bleue will have the grand opening of its new tasting room at 20 N. Second Ave. on Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
The winery, founded in 2008 and owned by Jon and Amy Meuret, is a family-owned operation focused primarily on Rhône varieties, including grenache, syrah, marsanne and viognier, as well as chardonnay. The self-described approach “combines European sensibility with a controlled New World opulence.” The tasting room with dark walls and ornate circular chandelier lights reflects that, too.
The new tasting room will operate Thursday through Sunday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For more details click here.
