Umapine’s Vacation Bible School begins at SDA church on Monday

UMAPINE — Umapine’s Vacation Bible School begins at 9 a.m. Monday at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, located at 84685 Ringer Road in Umapine.

The Bible school is for children ages 4-12. It will meet daily through Friday.

This VBS experience is entitled “Athens.”

Good Samaritan Ministries to celebrate its Silver Anniversary

WALLA WALLA — Good Samaritan Ministries of Walla Walla will celebrate its Silver Anniversary 5-7:30 p.m. Friday at 1815 Portland Ave.

The keynote speaker will be GSM’s founder, Bettie Mitchell, Founder

On Saturday from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m., there will be PTSD training at Blue Mountain Community Church, 928 Sturm Ave.

The training will be led by Bettie Mitchell, Moushir Fares of Egypt, Bob Nash and Mike Chaney.
