JUNK VEHICLES: Heard draft letter from county engineer Grant Morgan about junk vehicles on county right-of-ways. The letter will be reviewed by the county prosecutor before being sent out.
PROPERTY: Reviewed letter from county prosecutor about upcoming sale of county property at Pataha Creek and Geiger.
ROAD WORK: Heard report that public works plans to start chip sealing on Wednesday, weather permitting.
BOARD OF EQUALIZATION: Approved and signed letter to board of equalization member granting a one year waiver for training.
HEALTH CARE: Discussed changes to Voluntary Employee Benefits Association. Due to provisions of the Affordable Care Act, starting in 2014, funds in this account will only be able to be used once employees have retired or left employment with the county.
ARCHITECT: Signed contract with Terence L. Thornhill for up to $10,000 of work to do feasibility study for the expansion and remodel of the county public works building.
