Walla Walla

A two-vehicle, rear-end collision with minor injures occurred Tuesday 12:58 p.m. at Pleasant and Bridge streets.

A collision between a motorcycle and a sedan occurred on Monument Drive near Curlew Lane when a 1999 Harley Davidson ridden by Jerry B. Turner, 73, of Burbank struck a 2012 Toyota Camry driven by Lorraine M. Johnson, 61, of Burbank. According to a Walla Walla County Sheriff’s report, Johnson had just pulled back onto the highway and was preparing to make a left turn onto Curlew Lane when Turner could not stop in time and struck her Camry. Turner was transported to Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco with lacerations and a possible broken leg.

A residential burglary occurred at the 00 block of Westbourne Loop sometime between June 24-27. A back window was found broken and the slider door left open. Taken were two laptop computers and a jar of coins.

Graffiti was reported at the Walla Walla River crossing at Last Chance Road.

A residential burglary was reported at the 700 block of Coppei Avenue, Waitsburg Sunday overnight. Four cat carriers and a dagger were taken.

Residents near Byrnes and Maiden roads reported vandalism to Union-Bulletin delivery boxes.
