PRESCOTT — The Prescott School Board will hold a special executive session Wednesday to begin discussing applicants for the position of Superintendent. Current Superintendent Bill Jordan has announced plans to retire at the end of the year.
Jordan said the board could begin holding interviews for candidates as early as a week from the initial meeting.
“It’s possible that they could, with the right candidate, hire a new superintendent by the end of the month,” he said.
The meeting with take place at 5:30 p.m. in the board room of the Prescott School District, and the discussion of candidates will be closed to the public.
