Rachel A. Tincher of Milton-Freewater passed away March 4, 2013, at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla at the age of 36 years.
Memorial services will be Friday, March 08, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the Valley Christian Center with Pastor Shane Nelson officiating. Private inurnment will be in the Milton-Freewater Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
Rachel was born Jan. 19, 1977, in Fairlea, W.Va., the daughter of Arby B. and Bertha R. Tincher Smith. She began school in West Virginia. The family eventually moved to Kansas, Pennsylvania and then in 1986 to Milton-Freewater, where Rachel finished her schooling and graduated from high school. She had worked for Smith Cannery during harvest. She enjoyed being with her children and drawing pictures. She was a member of the Valley Christian Center.
She is survived by two sons, Daniel Tincher and Mikey Tincher; companion, Danny Zamora; her mother, Bertha Smith; a brother, Arby B. Smith, Jr.; two sisters, Loretta Polanco and Linda Bolen; a niece and nephew, Luis and Millie Polanco.
