Public comment is being sought on a plan to help improve the work force in Eastern Washington.
A draft of the Eastern Washington Partnership Strategic Plan is available at ewpartnership.org. The period for public comment will conclude at the end of this month.
The mission of the partnership is to develop a system that effectively meets the workforce needs of employers, workers, job seekers and youth.
The partnership serves populations in Asotin, Columbia, Ferry, Garfield, Lincoln, Pend Oreille, Stevens, Walla Walla and Whitman counties under the Workforce Investment Act of 2000.
