WALLA WALLA — Daniel N. Clark, representing the Walla Walla 2020 Research and Plaque Project, has requested a stay in the potential demolition of a duplex rental house on Isaacs Avenue.
The residence is at 905 Isaacs, at the corner with Valencia Street on the east side of Valencia.
The Walla Walla Joint Community Development Agency recently received an application for a permit to demolish the residence and an outbuilding foundation.
Clark said in an email to the Walla Walla Joint Community Development Agency that the structure should be subject to a 60-day stay instead of the customary 10-day hold because of its size, location and age.
In addition the 60-day stay, Clark’s email suggested a public hearing and possible longer stay of demolition.
