Rick E. Cooper, 47, Prescott, was sentenced March 4 on one count violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act. The court dismissed three other counts. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $81 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $1,000 violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act fee, $500 drug enforcement fund, $100 crime lab and biological fees, 30 days in the county jail, credit for six days served, 24 days converted to Department of Corrections community service, 12 months community custody. On Feb. 19 Cooper pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of methamphetamine on or about Nov. 9.
Larissa M. Teal, 12, 117 Green St. was sentenced March 1 on two counts fourth-degree assault — domestic violence. The sentence included 30 days in the Juvenile Justice Center, credit for 22 days served, nine months community supervision, 20 hours community service, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On Jan. 25 Teal pleaded guilty to assaulting a family member under circumstances not amounting to assault in the first-, second- or third-degree on Nov. 7.
Daisey G. Cleveland, 14, 509 W. Alder St. was sentenced March 1 on one count third-degree theft. The sentence included 30 days in the Juvenile Justice Center, credit for 30 days served, nine months community supervision, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs, restitution of $55.20. On Nov. 30 Cleveland pleaded guilty to, with intent to deprive the true owner, taking merchandise of a value not exceeding $750 from Harvest Foods on Oct. 15.
