Activities and weekly lunch menus at area senior centers
Activities offered daily at The Center at the Park, 720 Sprague Ave., include classes, meals-on-wheels, pool and cards from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Spanish is spoken at the Center.
Adult day care is provided at the Adult Day Center 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday.
Senior Round Table luncheons are served weekdays 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at The Center.
A vegetarian option and salad bar are available Monday-Friday.

This week’s menus:
Monday: Sweet-and-sour pork over rice, broccoli, green salad, bread, fruit.
Tuesday: Beef barley mushroom soup with cheese slice, coleslaw, fruit juice, biscuit, plums and cookie.
Wednesday: Baked chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, mixed vegetables, fruit juice or salad, bread, cake and ice cream.
Thursday: Tomato soup, grilled cheese sandwich, hard-boiled egg, mixed fresh vegetables, crackers, applesauce.
Friday: Corned beef, boiled potatoes, cabbage, carrots, bread, cookie.
Lunch is served at Waitsburg Presbyterian Church, 504 Main St., Waitsburg on Tuesdays.
Home-delivered meals are available.

Milton-Freewater and Weston seniors can enjoy hot lunches and socialize at the senior centers in Milton-Freewater and Weston.
Activities are offered 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesdays and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Fridays at the Milton-Freewater Senior Citizens Center, 311 N. Main St.
Hot lunches are served at noon on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Bingo is 1 p.m. every Tuesday and pinochle is 7 p.m. every Friday.
The Weston Senior Citizens Center on Main Street is open for social time and a hot lunch is served at noon on Wednesdays.

The suggested donation is $3.50 for meals for those 60 and older or children under 8; and $6 for those 59 and younger.
Bread and milk are served with all meals.
The menu for Milton-Freewater is:
Tuesday: Taco salad with chips, cheese, tomatoes, onion, lettuce, refried beans and ground beef, corn, fruit cup, spice cake.
Friday: Corned beef and cabbage, Irish potatoes, spinach, rolls, Jell-O with whipped topping.
The menu for Weston is:
Wednesday: Corned beef, Irish potatoes, peas, steamed cabbage, dilly bread, pistachio pudding with pineapple.
Seniors of the Blue Mountains and Walla Walla Valley offer a meal at noon Thursdays in the Milton-Freewater Elks Club.
Bread is served with every meal.
The suggested donation is $4.
The menu this week is:
Thursday: Corned beef and cabbage, dessert.
