Thefts, Burglaries

WW Police

100 block of North 11th Avenue. A man caught driving with a suspended license was also using vehicle license plates that did not belong to him.

CP Police

200 block of Poplar Avenue. Residential burglary reported.

Walla Walla County Fairgrounds, 363 Orchard St. Vehicle tire slashed.

CP Police

600 block of Southeast Mountain View Drive. Flood lights reportedly damaged.

Safeway, 1600 Plaza Way. A car stereo was found in a shopping cart.

WW County Sheriff

400 block of Fourth Street, Touchet. A 31-year-old man was arrested for criminal trespass after property owners reported he was in an RV on their land. Deputies found the man and a woman sleeping in the RV in question. The 31-year-old was arrested for criminal trespass, booked at the Walla Walla County Jail, and released.

Walla Walla County Fairgrounds, 363 Orchard St. Deputies arrested a 39-year-old man for disorderly conduct after the man allegedly chased a 4-year-old boy, and then attempted to pull a woman off her horse. The man, reportedly intoxicated, had also apparently called police to report the horse the woman was riding was stolen from him.
