Digital imaging firm gets new focus

A Walla Walla business known for scanning, printing and art reproduction is getting into video, too.

The latest service at Focus House Digital is the transfer of old VHS, Beta and other video tapes to DVD, said business owner Alan Jones.

“We kept having people call and stop in, asking if we did that sort of thing so we thought we would give it a try,” Jones said in an announcement.

The cost is $29.95 for up to a two-hour tape. Extras include titles, transitions and fades, for those who wish.

Focus House Digital, located in the Flatiron Building at 11 Boyer Ave., offers photo and flat-art reproductions, image copying, manipulation, color correction and more from Jones and Rick Tuttle. The business operates Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., minus lunch 12:30-1:30 p.m. For more details, visit
