Port commissioners are Gene Warren, Dale McKinley and Earle Marvin. With all present Wednesday, the board:
BYLAWS: Discussed creating bylaws for the Port, which are not a legal requirement for port districts. Port Auditor Amber Phinney said she would send sample bylaws to commissioners to review before next meeting.
BLUE MOUNTAIN STATION: Unanimously approved resolution 2013-01, authorizing Port Manager Jennie Dickinson to pursue Community Economic Revitalization Board funding for installing a sewer system at the station, which will cost approximately $200,000. Bids for the artisan food center are open and will be read at a special Port meeting on April 5 at 2 p.m.
MARINA: Heard report on Lyons Ferry Marina, including possible future need to upgrade boat slips to accommodate the larger size of modern boats.
RAILROAD: Discussed PCC Railroad contract. The Port has not heard back from Watco, the line operator, regarding a list of questions about the contract Watco wants to renegotiate.
