Professor to discuss World Heritage Sites in Sri Lanka

WALLA WALLA — “UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Sri Lanka: Unfolding the Multifaceted Personality of an Island Civilization,” will be presented by Sudharshan Seneviratne, PhD at 7:30 p.m. March 27 in Olin Hall 245, Whitman College, 280 Boyer Ave.

Seneviratne is the 2012-2013 Edwin F. Arnold visiting professor of South Asian archaeology at Whitman College.

He has held academic and diplomatic posts in Sri Lanka since the 1980s and is an archaeological consultant to several countries.

Admission is free.
