WWCC is co-winner of Aspen Institute Prize

UPDATE: WWCC and Santa Barbara City College have been announced as co-winners of the Aspen Institute Prize for Community College Excellence, which recognizes the top colleges in the nation.

The Aspen Institute will announce today whether Walla Walla Community College is among the top four community colleges in the nation.

Walla Walla Community College has already been named among the top 10 community colleges in the nation by the organization. Today, Aspen will name a winner and three finalists during a live webcast from Washington D.C. starting at 9:30 a.m. local time. Watch the results as they are announced here:

The Student Activity Center at WWCC will also be airing the awards ceremony this morning. This is the second year in a row WWCC has been named a top college in the nation. Last year, the college was one of three finalists for its data-driven and innovative efforts to retain and train students in competitive careers.
