TOUCHET — Touchet High School fell to Colton 6-0 and 15-4 in a Southeast 1B baseball doubleheader here Saturday.

“Colton is a very good team,” Touchet coach Tim McKeown said. “We didn’t play as well as we normally do. We had a very uncharacteristic day at the plate. We weren’t patient, were over swinging and weren’t talking our walks.

“Colton was the opposite,” he said. “They were patient and swinging at good pitches to hit.”

Touchet’s Elias Martinez and Colter McKeown each had three hits in the two games.

Touchet (3-2 overall, 0-2 league) hosts Waitsburg-Prescott for a single game Tuesday at 4 p.m.
