Roberta “Bobby” Barnhart finally found rest after a 2½ year battle with cancer.
Energetic and assertive Bobby was a lifelong nurse, a wife of almost 62 years, a mother of three (plus one adopted son), as well as a grandmother of 13 and a greatgrandmother of 21.
She was a Midwesterner by birth, a Texan for over half her career and a resident of Walla Walla for all of her retirement.
She was an avid and able crafter and seamstress who participated as one of the early vendors at the Walla Walla Farmer’s Market.
She was deeply grateful for all of the care and overwhelming compassion of her friends.
Per her definitive request, no public service will be scheduled.
Please seriously consider a gift to the Walla Walla Community Hospice in honor of her memory.
She leaves behind her husband, Blayne, who will look forward to your kind words and gentle touch when you see him out and about in Walla Walla.
