W-P baseball team wraps up sweep with suicide squeeze

PRESCOTT — A suicide squeeze by bunter Tucker Alleman and runner Dalton Estes in the bottom of the seventh finished off a Waitsburg-Prescott sweep of Tekoa-Oakesdale-Rosalia Saturday, 6-5. W-P won the opener, 11-4.

In the first game W-P used a six-run fifth inning, highlighted by a Nick Pearson three-run double, to take the lead and roll to victory.

W-P (5-1 overall, 2-0 1B league) visits Touchet Tuesday at 4 p.m.
